Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable, robust, and secure engineering systems and APIs to support various applications and services.
• Deliver well-tested features across many different services and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other issues, and implement solutions to address them.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them effectively in backend development, enhancing system efficiency and performance.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a backend or full-stack software engineer, with a minimum of 5 years in software development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Java, C++, or Go, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Knowledge of web services and RESTful APIs, along with experience in designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs.
• Excellent understanding of cloud development (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) building and maintaining large-scale cloud applications or services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL queries and database optimization techniques.
This position will be required to pass the Zensark Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
